Giving potential employees the right competencies is important for Lundbeck. That’s why we value our ongoing collaboration with universities and other educational institutions around the world.

As a leading research company, Lundbeck has employees from many different educational institutions. Students come to us to learn special skills or to meet academic requirements. More than one in 50 of our employees come to us as students from various universities, including many PhD candidates and Master’s students who are writing their theses at Lundbeck.

How to send us an application as a PhD Student
Lundbeck has many PhD candidates working in its research and development units. Some are salaried employees who work on a daily basis in Lundbeck's laboratories. Others have come to us in connection with a research collaboration between Lundbeck and, for example, the Royal Danish School of Pharmacy (Danmarks Farmaceutiske Højskole, DFH).

If you are considering a position with Lundbeck as a PhD candidate, please send us an application through our CV database. Your CV should clearly describe your educational background and your relevant technical background. Specify which elective subjects you have taken, papers you have written, and the kinds of research-related work you have done. If you have business experience or other experience you believe is relevant to the project, please tell us about that, too.

We would also like to hear any specific ideas you have for a PhD project: what exactly would you like to investigate? A project description, including project background, success criteria, milestones, etc. (about two pages in all), should be included with your application.

How to send us an application for writing a Master’s theses
We work together with many students who complete their final examination, dissertation, or diploma projects at Lundbeck. Most of them are involved in an educational programme in science. However, we also work together with students from business schools, colleges, and training programmes for laboratory technicians.

If you would like to write your thesis at Lundbeck, please send us an application through our CV database. Your application should describe your project ideas: what would you like to work on; what do you expect to get out of the project; and what Lundbeck can expect to gain from the collaboration.
