Lundbeck Research USA receives the 2005 NJBIA Award for Excellence

This award has been presented annually since 1984 to companies in New Jersey who exemplify a creative and forward-looking approach to human resource management.  NJBIA serves over 23,000 businesses in the Garden State, and only two of them are chosen as Outstanding Employers.

Lundbeck was chosen over other New Jersey employers for our comprehensive compensation and benefits package which includes fully paid medical benefits, subsidized gym memberships, a generous medical leave package (which significantly exceeds the requirements of the Family Medical Leave Act), flexible work arrangements, training classes aligned with employee development plans, 100% tuition reimbursement at accredited colleges and targeted management training.  The program was independently audited through an examination of company documents and several employee interviews.  Award winners were selected by an independent panel of judges and NJBIA policy committee chairs.
 
There are three other Categories in the annual Awards for Excellence:  Enterprise (NRG Energy, Inc and Ranbaxy Pharmaceuticals), Environmental Quality (Mannington Mills, Inc. and New Jersey American Water) and Public Service (Johnson & Johnson and Qualcare, Inc.).  All awards will be presented at the Annual Awards Dinner in October.
